Head coach of the Super Eagles, Sunday Oliseh, is expected to announce a 24-man squad this week, ahead of next month’s 2018 World Cup qualifier against Swaziland.

Although Oluseh missed last weekend’s CHAN qualifier against Burkina Faso due to an illness, he is expected back by the first week in November.

Speculations are that Oliseh will likely call up six home-based players, like Chima Akas, Austin Oborakpo and Jamiu Alimi expected to be on the list. The replacements for Vincent Enyeama and Emmanuel Emenike, who have announced their retirement from international football are also highly anticipated.
