Those stubborn pimples! You’ve probably been praying them away all your life. Or you just wish you had better skin that wouldn’t stop glowing… It’s sad to see that a lot of skin products these days cause more harm than good and what is fashion without a flawless skin?

No need to feel depressed. I’ve got good news and it even gets better, because these secrets I am about to share with you are pocket-friendly. No need to “break the bank”.

Besides the financial aspect, they are completely natural and safe. I know you have heard that again and again but this time, it is real. Enough of the suspense, Its FRUITS. Yes, I said fruits. Here are the fruits and how to use them for the benefit of your face

1. CARROTS

This crunchy goodness is not just amazing in the mouth but it also does wonders to your skin. Carrots contain Vitamin C which aids collagen production in the body. Collagen is a type of protein that is vital for the maintenance of skin elasticity. Carrots contain Vitamin A, which is an antioxidant that reduces signs of ageing like wrinkles, pigmentation and an uneven skin tone. Carrot when applied to the face generally brighten the appearance of the face.

Procedure :

  • Grate the carrot or carrots depending on the volume you need
  • Make a paste after grating carrots by adding honey and olive oil
  • Apply to the face
  • Leave on for 15-20 minutes
  • Wash away

2. Banana

Ripe, rich and delicious – bananas are not just good when you eat them, they do wonders on your skin as well. Bananas are one of the most popular fruits that are easily available all year round. Bananas are exceptionally healthy as they provide numerous health benefits. It is a versatile fruit that contains many nutrients including vitamins A, B, C and E along with minerals like potassium, zinc, iron and manganese. Just as eating a banana helps in keeping your body in good health and great shape, application on your skin will help cleanse and rejuvenate your skin. Asides from the glow it gives, it also helps with acne.

Procedure:

•   Mash in the ripe banana and apply on your face and neck.
•   Add in some honey/lemon if you have acne.
•   Wash off after 15-20 minutes
