Work On Your Car

If you plan on travelling to the village this season with your car, you need to visit your auto-mechanic for a full checking and servicing. Make sure there are no lapses and leave no stones unturned. Your safety is paramount this season and you may not know how bad the roads leading to your home town are. Safety comes first before anything.

Be Alert

Try to be alert at all times. While driving at night during this period, when parking your car, while shopping, while using the ATM and doing any other thing, keep your eyes open. Be alert and vigilant. Don’t respond to strangers while driving at night. Don’t stop at places you are not very familiar with. Don’t allow people stand too close to you while using the ATM. Lock the doors of your home properly at night and don’t open your door to strangers at night. All these may look so basic but they are lifesavers.

Keep Your Valuables Safe

All important valuables like your phones, laptops, I-pads, ATM cards, international passport, cash etc. should be kept securely. If you are leaving any valuables in the car while going out, cover them up with something to shield them from prying eyes and lock your car doors properly. You shouldn’t take any chances.

Drive Safely

Like I said, the end of the year is quite a sensitive season so you need to be careful and sensible. I know there will be a lot turning up, partying and merry-making and there may be a lot of temptation to act impulsively and recklessly but this is where your voice of reason is required. Don’t fall into that trap. It is dangerous. Most accidents at the end of the year are caused by drunk driving and reckless behaviour, so don’t be caught in that kind of situation. Think about your safety and life as you make your decisions.

Try to eat healthy and clean

Healthy living is still important this season. Yeah, you may want to chill and cheat this season if you are on a diet because there will be a lot of yummy foods moving around during hangouts, parties events etc. Eat, enjoy yourself but with caution. Watch what you eat to prevent food poisoning (Medical), typhoid or diarrhoea. Also, don’t over-do it on the alcohol. Your internal organs are important for you to live longer. Try and detoxify your system after all the eating and merriment and balance your diet with fruits, vegetables, smoothies and water. You can even include healthy eating in your parties or hangouts this season or organize events that promote healthy living for friends and family.

I hope you enjoyed the wonderful tips.

Happy Holidays!
