Today Instagram announced that it now has more than 400 million users, who share 80 million photos per day.
In less than a year, the Facebook owned photo sharing app has added 100 million new people to its platform. The app reportedly owes most of its growth to international expansion. Of the latest to join, a majority are in Europe and Asia. However, Instagram saw the most growth in Brazil, Japan, and Indonesia with many celebrities coming on board the platform much to the amusement of followers.
No doubt Instagram is quickly amassing such following surpassing older social platforms like Twitter.
