Hate him all you want but he’s earned the title “The Special One”… And looks like he is “here” to stay.

Reports say Jose Mourinho will soon sign a new $50 million four-year deal at Chelsea to keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2019.

Mourinho, 52, has a reputation for being a nomad and hasn’t managed any team longer than four seasons — his longest spell at one club was at Chelsea from 2003 to 2007 — since starting his managerial career in 2000. However a new deal has been negotiated with Chelsea over the summer and he is set to be paid over $12 million a season to carry on his stellar work in west London.

The Portuguese coach is currently adored by Chelsea’s fans after bringing the PL title back to Stamford Bridge for the first time in five years in 2014-15.

Let’s hope the love doesn’t go sour at any point.
