Kanye West is reportedly ‘refusing to go back on his meds as the rapper believes his recent behaviour is justified thanks to validation from the US President Donald Trump after his ‘unhinged’ white house rant.
Those close to the 41-year-old are telling him that he needs to get back on his medication, that he’s not doing well, that he’s not making any sense,’ according to People magazine.
‘Now he’s in the Oval Office, and he’s doing the same rant, and that’s going to validate his rants.’
On Thursday, West met Donald Trump at the Oval Office, during which he dropped the F bomb, pounded on the Resolute Desk and gave the President a hug, labeled himself a ‘crazy motherf***er’, called the amendment that ended slavery a ‘trap door’ that should be abolished, joked about running for president in 2024 and said that Trump ‘is on his hero’s journey’.
The 72-year-old Commander-In-Chief liked what he heard and called Kanye’s monologue, ‘pretty impressive’ and ‘quite something.’
According to the insider, Kanye will now be even harder to get through to because of the President’s validation.
‘No one close to him can tell him that he’s sounding unhinged,’ the source said, ‘because his answer is that the President of the United States doesn’t think so.’
‘The entire family is at the end of their ropes, and stuff like this won’t help.
‘They’re trying to help him get things where they should be, and it’s going to be that much harder now,’ they added. ‘It’s a sad day.
During his monologue, Kanye also claimed he was misdiagnosed with bipolar disorder, but claimed it was probable he will get dementia because of his sleep deprivation.
What I think is we don’t need sentences, we need pardons. We need to talk to people. I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, I was connected with a neuropsychologist that works with the athletes in the NBA and NFL. He looked at my brain, it’s equal on three parts’ Kanye said.
He then continued to claim he’s not bipolar, talked about his IQ and a ’98 percentile IQ test,’ and how it is probable he will get dementia because of his sleep deprivation.
‘You know, so he said that I actually wasn’t bipolar. I had sleep deprivation which could cause dementia 10 to 20 years from now, where I wouldn’t even remember my son’s name. So all this power that I get, and I’m taking my son to the Sox game and all that? I wouldn’t be able to remember his name – from a misdiagnosis.’
President Trump in praise of the rapper said Kanye West has been his friend for a long time.
