Smart move! Due to the terror attack that rocked Brussels earlier this week, Mariah Carey has canceled her upcoming concert in the Belgian capital, citing safety concerns.
The 45-year-old singer was set to perform on Sunday which happens to be her birthday. But she has canceled and there is no information as to whether she will reschedule.
According to her, she is canceling the show in other to ensure the safety of her esteemed fans.
“I love my fans in Brussels and at this time, I am being advised to cancel my show for the safety of my fans, my band, crew and everyone involved with the tour. I hope to see you soon and send my prayers and eternal love, laughter and light to my Lambs.” She wrote on her social media page.
On Tuesday, two explosions rocked Brussels airport and there was another one at the substation on the same day. ISIS militants claimed responsibility for the attack that left a total number of 31 people dead and several others injured.
Among the casualties were two Americans and citizens of the Netherlands, Peru, the U.K, China and France. A U.S. sources revealed that the two Americans were living in Europe at the time of the attacks. Though it has been confirmed that they were spouses of U.S. personnel, their names have not been released.
