Porsche says reckless driving and excessive speeding killed Paul Walker. The German car company says this in response to the actor’s daughter, Meadow Walker lawsuit on September 28 blaming the company for the wrongful death of her dad in 2013.

Porsche replies Meadow

“As we have said before, we are saddened whenever anyone is hurt in a Porsche vehicle, but we believe the authorities’ reports in this case clearly established that this tragic crash resulted from reckless driving and excessive speed,” a rep for Porsche reportedly told CNN while admitting that Porsche has yet to review the lawsuit and would not comment on specifics relating to the case.

Lawyers representing Meadow claim that when the Carrera GT crashed, Walker’s seat belt “snapped Walker’s torso back with thousands of pounds of force, thereby breaking his ribs and pelvis,”
