King Yemi had been present when the Mask had paid a visit to the palace at the time he had taken Eno Benjamin to be his wife. It didn’t take long for Sam to show up and claim her as his. He would have waged war against the criminal, but he had come up with a favorable trade.
Two months had passed since Sam made a deal to stay away from the vermillion that had been discovered in Lokoja. He was more focused in his new relationship with Eno, which he hoped would lead to something great.
Cassandra is forcefully taken by the rich and powerful king Yemi and his proud sister.
Ore had felt really sad after Gavin had told her the truth about her sister’s life, and relationship with the Phoenix. He had given her a detailed explanation about Oye’s attack on his life.
With deep courage, she swirled round and came face to face with a man in white. A man whose eyes were burning coals, and whose feet were trapped in sandals forged out of pure gold.
Ore was well aware that she was no longer in the Hotel room. Her eyes fluttered as she parted them, to see the new place where she was being kept. A yawn escaped her lips, and her tummy rumbled. She was hungry and needed something to eat.
Gavin had not been quite sure of the next action to take, but on the orders of the Holy Spirit, he left to the nearest Police Station and told them about his sister’s kidnapping. They were hesitant at first, but they agreed to follow him to Rosydew hotel and here they were.
Paul had been in a relationship with Ore for two years, but he had broken up with her because of her past. He had loved Ore genuinely, but he was not cut out for the kind of life that she had expected, so he had to move on.
Ore’s eyeballs had almost popped out of her eye sockets when Paul had walked into the room with a slender pretty girl who had a striking resemblance to someone she once knew.
Gavin was not comfortable with the way she had raked his body with her eyes. It wasn’t an arduous look or anything related, she just looked really surprised to see him in the office and that scared him a bit.
Not many highly achieved women like Delilah would offer themselves the way she was, to any man. She was a gift to her family; Gavin was left with no choice but to accept.
Lila couldn’t believe “she is not my type.” She had met a lot of men and she was always their type. His remark was a silent insult, she knew Simone was pretty but she was prettier.
She would handle that Lila bitch later, she would warn her to stay off her man. She felt so thrilled that Gabriel had introduced her to the world, that was the beginning of good things to come. She would marry him someday, she was sure of this.
Lila stared at her reflection in the bathroom mirror and knew that the situation of things had taken a heavy toll on her. Her blue eyeballs were slowly turning indigo and her eye lids were puffy and reddish. Her lips were pale, her skin looked like it had been drained of blood.
Lila’s heart was heavy with pain and sorrow, her mind was blurred with questions and imaginations. No matter how hard she tried to forget it, she just couldn’t, her father had betrayed her, why on earth had he gotten such a huge loan without first consulting her?
