Pimples is a skin condition characterised by red pimples on the skin, especially on the face. It is usually due to inflamed or infected sebaceous glands and is prevalent mainly among adolescents.
Though unknown to many, the location of your acne has a lot to say about your health. For instance… did you know that tiny little acne around your mouth could be telling you that you need to rest? I bet you didn’t. Below is a list of things your acne says about your health.
1 & 2: Digestive System.
Having acne in spot 1 and 2 may suggest that your digestive system is not working fine. It might mean that you have to cut down on eating processed foods, eat less junk food, reduce the amount of fat in your diet, take more water, and go for cooling things like cucumbers.
Acne around spot three might also be an indication that you need to check your liver. But first, you need to cut out the alcohol, avoid greasy food and dairy. It might also reflect food allergies, so you might want to watch what you eat. Also, exercise regularly and get enough sleep.
4, 5, 7 &8: Kidneys
Any strange reaction around the eye means dehydration. Dark circles, Acne, you just need to drink enough water.
If you are constantly having acne on spot 6, please you need to check your heart, check your blood pressure and Vitamin B levels. Then, reduce spicy foods, eat less meat and get more fresh air. Most importantly, try lowering your cholesterol level by opting for healthy fats instead of the bad ones. And avoid using expired makeup.
9 & 10: Respiratory system
Acne on spots 9 and 10 is the problem area for smoking and allergies. So if you have been having acne on those spots, you should make efforts to quit smoking and watch avoid things that give you allergic reaction. But if you do not smoke and still have acne on these spots, your body might just be overheating. So eat more cooling foods, reduce your sugar intake, eat more vegetables and avoid dirty cell phones and pillow cases.
11 & 12: Hormones
Acne around the mouth area is simply screaming rest. It is an indication that you have been stressed and your hormones might be changing. Avoid this by getting enough sleep, drinking enough water and eat more vegetables. This might also mean that you are ovulating, so let it be.
Acne on spot 13 is simply an indication that your stomach is upset. Adjust this by stepping up your fibre intake, reduce the toxin overload and drink herbal teas to help with digestion.
And lastly, acne on spot 14 might mean that your body is fighting bacteria and trying to avoid illness. Just take a break and have an all-around check. Take a yoga class, take a nap, take time to breathe deeply, drink plenty of water and know that everything always works out.
