Zlatan finally released by EFCC, leaving Naira Marley behind


After spending five days in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Zlatan Ibile was finally released, however, Naira Marley is left behind.

There were reports that surfaced, saying that Naira Marley was left behind because some incriminating evidence was found on his laptop.

Meanwhile, Zlatan’s freedom was possible after Davido, his label CEO hired a Senior Advocate of Nigeria to assist in his case. The investigation is somehow not over, but when Zlatan Ibile needs to report to EFCC, it is mandatory that he shows up.

In their single, ”Am I A Yahoo Boy”, it was claimed that Yahoo Yahoo was payback for the transatlantic slave trade. In addition, some intelligence reports also linked the two artists to the cybercrime accusations.

The other suspects detained were: Tiamiu Abdulrahman Kayode aka Rahman Jago, Adewunmi Adeyanju Moses and Abubakar Musa.
